Edit mobile handheld footer

    Hello,

I hope all is well. :)

I have been trying to edit the handheld footer (the three buttons for WooCommerce: my account, search and cart on mobile devices) for a couple of hours now, with no result.

I know that you don't do any customization and it's not what I need. I just want to know which file I need to edit to get this done. I tried editing the files located in qos/inc/vendors/woocommerce but, even if I delete all the content, the handheld bar does not change at all. So I must be working in the wrong files.

Basically, I am trying to replace the link to the "my account" page with a different icon and a different target URL. Simple stuff.

I'd really appreciate it if you can just tell me which file(s) which I need to edit.

    Many thanks and stay safe,

    Samuel

One more thing: how can I edit the "Search ..." placeholder for the search button on mobile? I've tried translating the theme, but it didn't work.

    Dear mate,

    - I have been trying to edit the handheld footer..

It is custom work. You have edit code in plugin.

    Path: /wp-content/plugins/qos-core/inc/vendors/woocommerce/class-woocommerce.php

Search function mobile_handheld_footer_bar then edit code.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your reply. I'll give it a try :)

One last question: what about the translation for the "Search ..." placeholder for the search button on mobile? I've tried translating the theme, but it didn't work. I attached a screenshot.

    Have a nice day!
